Sequena chosen to deliver 'lean systems' reviews
- Service and process transformation reviews
- Advance planning for CSP roll-out
Wokingham 26 January, 2009 Sequena, the UK based service and process transformation company announced today they have been chosen and approved by Microsoft to provide service and process transformation reviews for their strategic Citizen Service Platform (CSP) programme utilising the innovative Sequena lean six sigma based methodology and Engage! Modeler visualisation tool.
Microsoft have created the Microsoft Citizen Service Platform (CSP), a comprehensive solution to transform the customer experience for citizens throughout the UK.
CSP consists of a conceptual four-layer model for mapping the business challenges facing local governments and the technology solutions to address these challenges. Layers 1 and 2 identify the business challenges, people and processes which is where Sequena will focus.
Sequena's LASERTM framework (Lean Approach to Service Evaluation and Redesign) is a well proven methodology:
- ‘lean six sigma ABC’ approach
- capture the customer/citizen journey
- prove the business case for change
- totally people-based
- utilises unique visualisation tool - Engage! Modeler
- provide a kick-start for real change – a roadmap to achieve transformation in service delivery cost and performance
Sequena was founded in 2002 and is focused on working with public sector organisations, particularly Councils and their key suppliers. In December 2007, the Sequena approach and future outlook was validated when Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council (BDBC) invested in Sequena through their 3en Ventures capital fund.
"We are delighted to be chosen and approved for the CSP programme." said William Fell, Managing Director of Sequena. "Service and process reviews for CSP projects fits our practical and visual lean six sigma based service transformation approach and Engage! Modeler toolset perfectly".
