Paper-based hospital recruitment process replaced with automated system
- Efficiency-driven initiative to transform the recruitment process

Wokingham, Berkshire February 7, 2007 - Sequena, the UK based business transformation company announced today that Mid Staffordshire General Hospitals NHS Trust has gone live with Sequena's on-line recruitment solution for NHS hospitals.
The Trust operates and manages the two hospitals in Mid Staffordshire – Staffordshire General Hospital and Cannock Chase Hospital. The Trust is one of the largest employers in the region, with 2,500 staff. From these two sites, the Trust provides a wide range of healthcare services – both medical and surgical – for the people of Stafford, Cannock, Rugeley and surrounding areas.
Sequena’s LASER programme - ‘Lean Approach to Service Evaluation and Re-engineering’ - was implemented at the Trust to transform their recruitment process which included automating the process with an on-line, real-time recruitment management system.
