Sequena was originally founded in 2002 by William Fell, Paul Gillham and Dr Roger Stokes. We started looking for 'business transformation' opportunities to improve business results for companies and organisations.
It became clear that 'business process' was a fundamental element of business transformation and tools & services were going to be important to help organisations make real improvements. To offer both tools & services we decided to set up two separate companies for this - Sequena Consulting Limited and Sequena Software Limited.
The public sector quickly became an area of focus for Sequena Consulting / Sequena Software and a new partnership with the public sector division of the Anite company lead to many projects with Councils to help initially with service improvement and since 2006 with service transformation.
The success of Sequena Consulting and Sequena Software in the Council arena lead to Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council investing in Sequena through their 3en Ventures 'capital fund' in December 2007. A new structure was required by the fund and a new company, Sequena Limited, was set up which amalgamated the businesses of both Sequena Consulting and Sequena Software.
Sequena Limited is primarily focused on the Public Sector with our 'Councils' and 'Health & Care' divisions. We also carry out transformation work in the 'Private Sector'.
